Forty-second meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the sixth convocation
The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin took part in the forty-second meeting of the State Council of the sixth convocation.
During the meeting, the Minister presented to the parliamentarians a bill on amendments to Article 3 of the Republican law on public educators of minors, introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Rustem Zagidullin noted that the bill was developed in order to bring the republican law in line with the changed requirements of federal legislation and further development of the institute of public educators.
Article 3 of the Republican Law "On Public Educators of Minors" defines the categories of minors for whom public educators can be assigned. The developed draft law proposes to expand this list. First of all, we are talking about minors who are on preventive registration in educational organizations.
"These are minors who exhibit destructive behavior, in particular bullying (bullying, aggressive harassment of one person by another), as well as supporters of the schoolshooting and Columbine movements (armed violence on the territory of educational institutions)," the minister said.
Following the meeting, the bill was approved by the deputies.
