New in legislation
No. 304-FZ of July 14, 2022 "On Amendments to Article 3 of the Law of the Russian Federation "On the Right of Citizens of the Russian Federation to Freedom of Movement, Choice of Place of Stay and Residence within the Russian Federation" and Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Migration Registration of Foreign Citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation".
In accordance with the amendments, the owner of a residential premises has the right to receive address and reference information regarding persons registered at the place of stay or at the place of residence in a residential premises belonging to him by right of ownership, to a certain extent (full name, date and place of birth, date of registration at the place of residence, place of stay), without their consent.
Information about foreign citizens contained in the state migration registration information system in the prescribed amount (in addition to the above information - citizenship, date of registration at the place of residence and registration at the place of stay) is provided to the owner of the residential premises in respect of foreign citizens registered at the place of residence or registered at the place of stay in the residential premises owned by him on the right of ownership, without the consent of these foreign citizens.
