A workshop in Chistopol

April 9, 2014 in accordance with the plan of the sectional training seminars in municipalities of Chistopol was the third training seminar on the theme: "interaction of representatives of the authorities, the media and civil society institutions to combat corruption".
Moderator of the event was member of the Council of State of the Republic of Tatarstan, Adviser to the General Director of JSC «Tatmedia» I. Ahmetzanov.
In this workshop the participants and invited guests discussed the issues and problems of cooperation of public authorities with the media, civil society, public councils in the Government.
Head of information and analysis, coordination and planning of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, A. Bedengov, in his statement, described the activities of the Republican anti-corruption programmes that aim at strengthening the interaction between the authorities, society and the media, as well as suggested ways to improve such cooperation.
Member of the public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, Vice-President of the Commission for the development of civil society institutions, a member of the public Council under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan V. Pajmuhin highlighted the role of the public Chamber of the Republic in respect of combating corruption when communicating with authorities.
Participants and attendees exchanged views on relevant issues of the prevention of corruption and stressed the importance of such activities in the municipalities of the Republic.
The next workshop is scheduled for April 17 in the town of Bugulma.
